It is December. How amazing to see so many flowers and green trees everywhere! The mornings and evenings are cool enough to need a sweatshirt, but the afternoons are warm and sunny. We have also had a couple of rainy days with big puffy clouds. The sky is clear and blue. The plants seem to be confused as to the season because some are blooming with beautiful flowers; hibiscus, oriental poppies, lilies and daisies. Some of trees are green without a hint of changing colors or dropping leaves, and still others are turning yellow and red, or are already leafless. Grass is green and still being mowed, ivy and hedges are sprouting new leaves. As I drove around with my arm out the window today I realized I had a perpetual smile on my face.
