My parents came to visit during the Christmas Holiday. We had so much fun going to the San Francisco Bay Aquarium and a few Piers. Each of the 39 Piers have different things to offer. We went to Pier 1 which housed an indoor Market with all kinds of different foods, flowers, cheeses, more types of mushrooms than I knew existed, coffee, etc. Outside of the Pier was the Farmers Market, lots of veggies, fruit, honey, nuts and handmade items. One of the booths had beautiful pottery in blues and greens. The Aquarium, at Pier 39, was nice, but not nearly as big as the one in Monterey Bay.
Another day we went to Half Moon Bay west of us about 35 miles. We enjoyed walking on the beach, eating at a cute cafe, and going to a cool shop that had as much stuff outside as inside. There were lots of pretty patio decorations outside, and antiques inside.
